Centro di Iniziativa Europea (C.d.I.E.) is a cooperative company with a registered office in Milan and operational offices in Piacenza and Brussels. Since 1990, C.d.I.E. has been promoting and managing innovative actions in the fields of local and human resources development in a European dimension through a staff of professionals who have considerable expertise in managing, monitoring, keeping records and accounts of complex EU-funded projects. These transversal skills are combined with specific sectoral skills (local development, social issues and equal opportunities).

Centro di Iniziativa Europea is an official partner (civil society share) of the Europe Congress.

In December 2006, C.d.I.E. has formed CdIE Bulgaria branch office in Sofia, dealing with Bulgarian rights. This office develops activities in Romania, Bulgaria and boundary countries.

The Brussels office ensures a direct relationship with the European Commission and other EU institutions.
